The engine is deterministic. Same inputs, same outputs. Here is what happens between you adding a coffee and the cortisol curve updating.

The five steps

1. Inputs — your timeline + profile are read
1. Decomposition — each compound broken into receptor binding profile
1. Receptor graph — bindings propagate through downstream signals
1. Time series — values computed across the simulation duration
1. Render — signals plotted, meters updated, heatmap colored
